Capital Self Help for Hard of Hearing People

What is Capital SHHH?
Capitol Self Help for Hard of Hearing People (SHHH) is dedicated to the well-being of people of all ages and communication styles who have a hearing loss. Our goal is to represent persons who are hard of hearing and help enhance their quality of life. It has also been created to open the world of communication and information to people with a hearing loss.

We support:

Education:
Advocacy;
Communication Skills;
Research to improve hearing aids, assistive listening devices and other technology needs of consumers with hearing loss;
Work to develop options for ourselves and open doors for others; and
People or friends of people who have had to deal with a hearing loss

When and Where are Meetings?
Capital SHHH holds regular meetings on the third Tuesday of most months. Meetings are held at the Cameron Road Church of Christ, 6014 Cameron Road, Austin, TX (next to Whataburger). Everyone is welcome. CART (live captioning) and assisted listening devices are available at all meetings.

Who Can Go?
Anyone is welcome, regardless of hearing loss. SHHH is a support organization created to help provide a network for people dealing with a hearing loss.
