- Working with businesses and organizations to promote access and equal opportunity for people who are Deaf/hard of hearing

- Awareness of issues and concerns that confront people who are Deaf
- Cultural Sensitivity to the Deaf
- Language Sensitivity (second language users)
- How to use the TTY
- Free orientation to help put you at ease when communicating with Deaf and hard of hearing persons
Information and Referral
- Updating and disseminating information
- Clearinghouse of resources, services and activities relating to the local, state and national Deaf community
- Maintaining information on the latest equipment available for Deaf and hard of hearing persons
- Providing information on laws, regulations, policies and programs affecting persons who are Deaf/hard of hearing
- Lending Library
